Ragama CC defeated Tamil Union in the 1st Innings at the Premier League Tournament division “A” match held at P. Sara Stadium on 24th 25th & 26th January 2014. The toss was won by Tamil Union and choose to field first.
The feature for Ragama was the outstanding batting of Ian Daniel who got his second century in as many games and the high class leg spin bowling by Malinga Bandara who captured six wickets in the first innings of the Tamil Union sc.
